A boutique law practice is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support probate, wills, and estate litigation matters in a quiet, professional environment. This part‑time, onsite opportunity is ideal for a Legal Assistant who excels in independent work, maintains a high level of confidentiality, and is skilled in transcription, e‑filing, discovery, and trial preparation. The role offers steady weekly hours and close collaboration with the attorney, providing valuable hands‑on experience in a specialized practice area.
- Strong Legal Assistant skills, including transcription, document preparation, state e‑filing, and proof of service
- Prior experience or familiarity with probate, wills, and estate litigation as a Legal Assistant
- Ability to operate independently in a quiet office (you will serve as the sole Legal Assistant onsite)
- Support with discovery, trial preparation, light Excel tasks, and general administrative duties
- Consistent attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in all Legal Assistant responsibilities
