Senior Supply Planner Location: Earth City, MO (Hybrid – 3–4 days in-office/week) Overview
Owns end-to-end supply planning for finished goods in a fast-paced CPG environment. Serves as the link between demand, inventory, and suppliers to ensure product availability, manage risk, and optimize cost and service levels.
Key Responsibilities- Lead supply planning and purchase/transfer order management
- Optimize inventory to prevent stockouts and excess
- Manage vendor performance and resolve supply issues
- Analyze forecasts, supply risks, and KPIs to drive improvements
- Develop planning tools, dashboards, and process enhancements
- Support cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of supply or production planning experience (CPG preferred)
- Advanced Excel and ERP/inventory system experience
- APICS CPIM/CSCP preferred
- Inventory turns and stockout rate (≤2%)
- PO accuracy and cycle time
- Forecast accuracy and on-time delivery
- Cost savings achieved
