Position Summary
Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized pharmacy that processes and dispenses prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within the region. Central Fill uses advanced automation to fill prescriptions quickly and accurately, enabling retail pharmacies to focus on clinical services and patient education.
RoleFull‑time Shipping and Receiving Associate, Republic, MO.
Responsibilities- Maintain sorter operation by removing full totes, replenishing empty totes, scanning locations with a hand‑held scanner, and arranging units to ensure proper fill rates.
- Move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Manage product deliveries: prepare, review, and verify receiving documentation; process, count, separate, and scan products; operate computer software to track inventory; unload products from trailers manually or with powered equipment; organize inventory and transfer to production stations; maintain records, logs, and forms.
- Maintain inventory and package quality, accuracy, and integrity by removing damaged or expired items, resolving discrepancies, and notifying management of process issues; provide basic equipment maintenance such as cleaning and label replacement.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities.
- Ensure accurate packing and shipping of pharmacy products: pack prescriptions, load onto conveyors, pack temperature‑sensitive medication according to specifications, include all necessary supplies, stock workstations, label shipments with approved carrier software, and verify pickup and delivery paperwork.
- 4‑day workweek, four 10‑hour shifts.
- Sunday availability required; candidates without Sunday availability will not be considered.
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (availability 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM (availability 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM).
- High school diploma.
- At least 18 years old.
- 1 year experience in shipping and receiving.
- 1 year experience in inventory control.
Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with a $2.00 per hour differential for the 2nd shift. The hourly wage range for this position is $15.20 – $22.80 based on location and applicable minimum wage laws. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and regional pay zone adjustments.
