Operations Supervisor – Uni First First Aid + Safety
Uni First First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable and hardworking Operations Supervisor to join our family. As a Team Partner in the Production Department, you will oversee and direct the activities of the teams that receive and handle items and deliveries and teams that pick, pack and ship customer orders. The Operations Supervisor supports and coordinates all functions within their department and makes key decisions regarding the unloading, intake, storage, and distribution of items.

- Complete Warehouse Clerk training
- Oversee daily checkpoints for forklifts, reach trucks, and scissors lifts
- Coordinate with Customer Service to ensure return authorizations are complete
- Work with scheduling & procurement supervisor on weekly cycle counts and quarterly reserve
- Monthly checks and verification on bulk retention
- Sign off and log information on chipboard logs as needed
- Assign primary bin locations for new items
- Inspect products upon delivery for damages and confirm accuracy
- Assist with picking, packing, and shipping as needed
- Verify labeling of received items and update bin locations and rotate goods
- Manage receiving and warehousing of components, printed materials, and raw materials per SOP
- Assemble required documentation per SOP for incoming components/ raw materials
- Keep picking locations full and accurate following FIFO
- Maintain consistent workflow within receiving and shipping departments
- Continuously strive to meet same‑day orders scheduled for pickup by morning each workday
- Perform order picking and packing quality audits
- Investigate and resolve order picking, packing, and shipping errors; report findings to the Fulfillment and Logistics Supervisor
- Update Advance Shipping Notifications daily
- Create and manage shipping batches daily
- Direct staging and loading of outbound freight via common carrier and LTL carriers
- Manage distribution of all sales orders to ensure on‑time and accurate shipment
- Ensure shipments sent on proper carriers per supervisor direction
- Follow Current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP)
- Perform other duties as described by leadership
- High school education and/or GED equivalent
- At least 16 years of age; at least 18 years to operate machinery
- Strong leadership skills; ability to train potential techs and assistants
- At least 2 years of vocational school and/or supervisory experience or relevant experience preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication in English
- Ability to work well with others in the workplace
Detail oriented - Capacity to follow directions from leadership
- Ability to stand during an 8‑hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
