Ocean Export Specialist

We are a 3PL provider which includes expertise across the entire supply chain including transportation, warehousing and distribution, assembly and contract packaging services.

Set-up, prepare and handle A to Z of ocean export files and documents associated with Ocean export transactions; request bookings and spot rate requests according to established company procedures.

• Understand key compliance and operational aspects of client’s cargo shipments.
• Fully responsible for the shipment when handling from A to Z.
• Execute International export documents in timely and accurately according to Custom’s and Customers requirements along with timely closing of each file as per company policy.
• Familiarity with cargo handling impact of various commodity types (e.g., Hazardous, perishable, over-sized, etc.)
• Maintain current knowledge of local, state and federal requirements/regulations and applicable departmental/organizational policies.
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate records with adherence to applicable regulatory and legal requirements as well as related essential documents

• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Strong mindfulness is critical.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are must
• Experience with Cargo Wise / INTTRA & Steamship Portals
• Fluency in other language shall be a plus
