Our Chatsworth, CA site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. With over 1,700 employees across nine sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.

The Supply Chain Director reports to the Site General Manager and has a dotted line to the Global VP Supply Chain. The Director executes the company’s end‑to‑end Global Supply Chain strategy to ensure timely availability of materials, fabricated components, and services required to support customer commitments, operational objectives, and financial performance. The Director drives supplier performance, mitigates supply‑chain risks, optimizes working capital, and ensures compliance with all applicable contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements.

The position works closely with Operations, Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Finance to support growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive supply‑chain strategy aligned with business objectives, customer commitments, and growth plans.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Supply Chain personnel, including Procurement, Planning, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Management teams.
• Establish supply‑chain metrics, performance objectives, and continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on delivery, quality, cost, inventory, and supplier performance.
• Build organizational capability to support increasingly complex aerospace and defense programs.
• Direct sourcing and procurement activities for raw materials, fabricated components, assemblies, electronics, and indirect goods and services.
• Develop sourcing strategies balancing cost, quality, lead time, capacity, and risk considerations.
• Negotiate long‑term agreements, pricing arrangements, and strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
• Lead supplier consolidation and rationalization efforts while maintaining supply continuity and competitive leverage.
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier commitments.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with critical suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct supplier assessments, audits, capacity reviews, and readiness evaluations.
• Lead supplier performance management processes, including scorecards, corrective actions, recovery plans, and executive reviews.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks associated with sole‑source suppliers, constrained materials, geopolitical factors, capacity limitations, and quality issues.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and supply assurance strategies for critical commodities and programs.
• Lead pro‑active obsolescence management strategies for electronic components, materials, and manufactured parts.
• Partner with Engineering and Program Management to identify lifecycle risks and develop mitigation plans including last‑time buys, alternate sourcing, redesign strategies, and inventory positioning.
• Monitor market availability and emerging supply risks throughout product life cycles.
• Lead Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes to align demand, supply, production capacity, and inventory strategies.
• Improve forecasting accuracy, material planning, and inventory optimization.
• Balance customer service requirements with working‑capital objectives.
• Manage inventory turns, excess and obsolete inventory, material availability, and inventory accuracy.
• Develop strategies for managing long lead‑time materials and constrained supply environments.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable aerospace, defense, contractual, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Maintain compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, UCC, counterfeit parts prevention requirements, and applicable quality management standards.
• Ensure flow‑down of contractual, quality, regulatory, and customer‑specific requirements throughout the supply base.
