Senior Manager, Procurement – IQF Frozen Fruit

We are supporting a leading global food and beverage organisation in the search for a Senior Manager, Procurement to lead its Frozen Fruit category while also helping shape procurement capabilities across the wider business.

This is a highly strategic opportunity for an experienced procurement professional with strong, hands-on IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) fruit purchasing experience

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end procurement strategy for Frozen Fruit, managing supplier relationships, sourcing, negotiations, contracting, market intelligence and supply risk.

Alongside category ownership, the role will contribute to the development of a Procurement Centre of Excellence, including KPIs, dashboards, market intelligence, cost modelling and strategic procurement tools.

Travel: 20–30%

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and purchasing activity across the IQF Frozen Fruit category
• Develop and execute long‑term sourcing and contracting strategies
• Manage supplier negotiations, RFQs and strategic supplier relationships
• Lead QBRs, supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop cost models and should‑cost analysis
• Monitor commodity markets, pricing and seasonal supply dynamics
• Develop dual‑sourcing and business continuity strategies
• Translate market intelligence into sourcing and contracting recommendations
• Develop procurement KPIs, dashboards and performance reporting
• Partner with IT/Analytics teams to improve procurement data and decision‑making
• Build procurement playbooks, methodologies and strategic tools
• Work cross‑functionally with Finance, Quality, Planning, Operations, Legal and R&D

What We're Looking For

The most important requirement is direct IQF fruit purchasing experience.

• 4–5+ years of hands‑on purchasing/procurement experience specifically within IQF fruits
• 7+ years' overall experience in strategic sourcing, commodities or category management
• Strong understanding of the IQF fruit supplier market, seasonal availability, pricing and commodity volatility
• Proven experience managing complex RFQs, negotiations and supplier contracts
• Strong supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing capability
• Advanced Excel, cost modelling and analytical skills
• Experience developing procurement KPIs, dashboards or working with BI/Analytics teams
• Strong ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and lead without direct authority
• Bachelor's degree required;
  Master's degree preferred
