- Lead large projects focused on improving operations and processes across World Market’s supply chain
- Identify problems, develop solutions, prioritize initiatives, execute projects, and communicate recommendations
- Work cross-functionally to identify and drive operational and process improvement projects
- Develop end-to-end supply chain solutions using World Market volume, systems, and partnerships
- Analyze large datasets using quantitative, modeling, mathematical, statistical, financial, and sensitivity-analysis methods
- Develop project plans, present plans for approval, and drive project management tasks, resource identification, and implementation planning
- Communicate progress on deliverables vertically and horizontally
- Provide cost-benefit analyses and go-forward recommendations to executive management and business partners
- Develop KPIs, metrics, and periodic reporting to drive execution and process improvement
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to improve product velocity and flow through the supply chain
- Optimize physical buildings, utilities, manufacturing/warehouse equipment, tooling, office devices, and facility layouts
- Identify technologies and processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and network design
- Interface with Manufacturing, Planning, Transportation, and Commercial strategies
- Travel to the Windsor, Virginia and Stockton, California distribution centers based on business needs
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical/analytical discipline or related field preferred
- Master’s degree in business and/or Supply Chain/Logistics discipline is a plus
- 4 years’ experience in supply chain management or related field
- LEAN/Six Sigma experience (Green belt or higher) is a plus
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a project-oriented environment
- Proven ability to state case for change and drive improvement
- Thorough understanding of distribution operations, supply/demand planning, and/or transportation methods/modes
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, SQL, Excel, and other data analytic tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Daily reporting to the local facility is required at the Windsor, Virginia or Stockton, California distribution center
Demonstrates expertise in supply chain management, project management, and data analysis, with a strong focus on operational improvement and cross-functional collaboration. Proficient in developing KPIs and utilizing data analytic tools to drive efficiency and productivity.
