- Implement the Company’s ITC processes, procedures, tools, and best practices within local business units
- Partner with functional leaders and staff to support import and export requirements
- Collect information for export licenses and other export authorizations
- Prepare and submit approved export license applications to the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Commerce using DECCS, SNAP-R, and Descartes OCR
- Review and approve export shipments
- Maintain import and export records with logistics staff
- Gather import documentation for clearance and duty-mitigation activities
- Coordinate with approved import brokers to review and approve import shipments
- Support general ITC activities and ensure flow-down of requirements and data
- Conduct import post-entry audits for compliance with U.S. Customs regulations
- Report significant issues, risks, and compliance concerns to the Empowered Official
- Review denied-party screening results and support second-level reviews
- Deliver ITC awareness training
- Assist with product and technology classifications under EAR, ITAR, HTS, and Schedule B
- Support use of Free Trade Agreements and other Customs or trade compliance inquiries
- Resolve denied-party data issues and support controls for trade transactions
- Assist with Voluntary Disclosures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of International Trade Compliance experience
- Direct experience drafting and submitting export licenses to U.S. government agencies
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands‑on experience with EAR, ITAR, and U.S. Customs Regulations
- Proficiency using SNAP‑R, DECCS, and AES systems for export compliance activities
- Experience using USCBP ACE systems to access, interpret, and download import/export data for site‑level reporting
- Proven Customs compliance experience, including import clearance processes, tariff classification, and duty mitigation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated goal achievement capabilities
- Knowledge of international business preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently solve problems
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills
- Proficiency with MS Office products
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, leadership, and cross‑functional partners
- U.S. Person under ITAR or eligible for approval for a U.S. Government export license
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Expertise in International Trade Compliance, including drafting and submitting export licenses, and ensuring compliance with EAR, ITAR, and U.S. Customs Regulations. Proficient in using compliance tools such as SNAP‑R, DECCS, and AES, with strong analytical and communication skills to support import and export activities.
