• Receive and execute instructions, prints, and work orders for various welding and cutting jobs.
• Maintain, repair, and fabricate equipment and work area by cutting, burning, and welding various metals.
• Clean and prepare surfaces to be maintained, repaired, or fabricated.
• Use burning/cutting equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut metals to required size and shape.
• Develop, analyze, and review operational reports to examine equipment usage, preventative maintenance, efficiency, and quality.
• Assist in developing operating policies and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and a safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance and repair work as needed.
• Report all incidents through the company’s reporting protocol.
• Support company safety initiatives and demonstrate knowledge of all required competencies.

• Minimum of 1 year of welding experience in a similar industrial environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work at various heights and utilize fall arrest systems and harnesses.
• Ability to work extended hours, including holidays, and weekends as work dictates.
• Physical fitness to perform all essential physical demands of this job safely.
• Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
