Pay Range

Base pay: $5,608.00 - $6,723.00 per annum. New state candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable.

Special Requirements
  • The position(s) require(s) a drug screening to be passed prior to being hired.
  • The position(s) require(s) a background investigation to be cleared prior to being hired.
  • The position(s) require(s) medical clearance prior to being hired.

The incumbent is required to wear respiratory protection equipment (including self‑contained breathing apparatus). As a condition of employment, the incumbent must obtain a Class A or B Commercial Driver License with Tank (N) and Passenger (P) endorsements and no restrictions for air brakes or standard transmission by the end of the 6‑month probationary period. Employees with a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing under Federal regulations and to the State’s random drug and alcohol testing pool.
