Maintenance Technician

AWI Management Corp. is seeking an experienced individual to help maintain a 51-unit apartment community in Laguna Hills, CA. This position also has assistant property manager responsibilities. Experience in general building maintenance and landscape and administrative tasks are preferred.

The position is a part-time position.

Pay range is $22.00 - $23.00 /hour DOE.

Housing is not available with this position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

• Experience with subsidized housing (HUD, Tax Credit, or RD) helpful
• General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)

• Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
• Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
• Report violations of lease and house rules
• Timely completion of maintenance requests, work orders and ensure tenant's maintenance needs are being met
• Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
• Perform preventative maintenance duties
• Maintaining excellent curb appeal
• Follow policies and procedures
