The Tax Branch’s Field Audit and Compliance Division, Technical Audit and Outreach Group is seeking one part‑time Custodian for the San Jose Area Audit Office. The Custodian works under the direction of the Tax Administrator I, assisting with general cleaning and custodial work. Applicants must be able to safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lb and identify and resolve complex custodial issues.

Position located at 906 Ruff Drive, 2nd Floor, San Jose, CA 95110. Free parking is available.

Part‑time employees will be paid based on the number of hours worked per pay period.

Effective July 1, 2025, certain staff will be subject to a salary reduction between 2 % – 4.62 % in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025). For details, visit the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) website.
