Primary ObjectiveOversee shipping/receiving, inventory control, warehouse housekeeping, and in‑house cut/cap production while supporting branch operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain equipment and materials for cut and cap processes.
- Assemble product and ensure finished goods meet AAF product standards.
- Receive product, ensuring accuracy of will call/deliveries, unload and load trucks.
- Maintain proper rotation and inventory upkeep.
- Assist in daily operations with logistics and team members.
- Handle product returns, restock/re‑inventory, and disposal of product.
- Assist in pulling orders for Service Techs and Delivery Drivers.
- Stock and organize inventory; move items around the warehouse shipping facility.
- Operate warehouse machinery to safety standards.
- Adhere to quality service procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Obtain OSHA
10 required training. - Support the Operations and Logistics Manager.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of warehouse safety.
- Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Forklift Driver Experience.
- Strong math skills for inventory accuracy and computer duties.
- Experience with safety in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain a table saw.
- Operation of a variety of production tools and equipment.
- Quality Assurance knowledge.
- Computer literacy (Scanning/Printing, Microsoft programs, Excel, Salesforce, SAP).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Inventory control experience.
- Customer Service skills.
- Leadership and team coordination skills.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Adaptability, active listening, strong work ethic, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English (reading, speaking, writing, and verbal instructions).
- Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks in moderate noise and temperature conditions.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods; operate a computer accurately.
- Should be able to climb ladders, stairs, and navigate hot/cold atmospheres.
- Compliance with safety gear requirements (glasses, closed‑toe shoes, long pants; no sleeveless shirts).
- Experience with the essential job functions, as described, with reasonable accommodations for disabilities where needed.
