The Head Generator Technician is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, installation, and reliable operation of all generator systems across the property. This role serves as the technical lead for generator-related work, ensuring uninterrupted power support, compliance with safety standards, and readiness for emergency and peak-demand situations. The Head Generator Technician provides hands‑on expertise, troubleshooting leadership, and coordination with vendors and internal teams to maintain system reliability.

• Serve as the primary technical authority for all generator systems, including standby, emergency, and backup power units.
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, testing, and servicing of generators and associated equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Ensure generators are fully operational and compliant with manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate and oversee work performed by external service providers and vendors as needed.
• Respond to emergency power failures and lead restoration efforts to minimize downtime.
• Assist with generator installations, upgrades, load testing, and commissioning of new systems.
• Monitor fuel levels, fuel quality, and fuel delivery schedules to ensure readiness.
