Part Time Custodian - Recreation Event Staff

The City of O'Fallon, MO is looking to hire a dependable and customer service-oriented Part-Time Custodian for our Event Staff team. Are you looking for an evening and weekend position where you'll be able to take pride in ensuring our facilities remain top notch in cleanliness? Our Part-Time Custodians earn competitive pay with an expected starting range of $1 8.25 hourly.

As part of our Recreation Department, you will be responsible for the custodial maintenance of Parks and Recreation facilities. Generally, your schedule will be between 12 and 25 hours per week, and will include evening and weekend hours.

As a Part-Time Custodian
, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the facility is clean and prepared for rental use
• Greeting renters and remaining at the facility during rentals to assist our guests with needs and questions related to the rental
• Performing general daily custodial duties to ensure our facilities are clean, functional, safe and sanitary
• Completing building inspections before and after rentals and on a weekly basis
• Reporting maintenance issues, inventory counts, supply needs, rental issues and other matters to supervisor
• Maintaining the security of the park facilities and patrons in the building during events, securing all buildings following events

We're looking for someone who is knowledgeable in the tools, equipment and methodology of building custodial maintenance with the ability to quickly learn department policies and procedures and facility rental guidelines.

Requirements include:

• The ability to perform tasks while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, bending or crouching
• Possession of or the ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Missouri
