Position Summary
Preserves the good condition and functionality of premises.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collaborates professionally within CHS departments to ensure quality functionality and condition of premises.
- Practices autonomy when making decisions that are appropriate for independent judgement and consults Manager of Transportation and Maintenance when necessary.
- Performs corrective and preventive maintenance tasks of great variety with a professional and practical mind and attention to detail.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Accepts and carries out special assignments or duties when requested.
- Apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
- Contributes to the organization's mission and values by working effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to exercise discretion regarding confidential information.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, night vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee may be required to bend, stoop and reach overhead on a daily basis.
- Associates Degree, or technical certificate from an accredited college in a related field. 3+ years of maintenance experience. An equivalent combination of experiences and education may be considered. OSHA certified preferred.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Must provide proof of personal valid vehicle insurance.
