Operations Manager, Data Science Manager
Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking an experienced Manager of Data Analytics to join our team. In this essential role, the Manager should strive to oversee high-quality billable work for the benefit of our clients and the support of our attorneys. We expect the Manager to provide oversight of detailed work in assisting clients and attorneys while managing a case and/or matter load as necessary for team workflow stability.
The Manager is expected to record 500 or more billable hours during the performance year. The performance year begins October 1 and ends September 30.
- Lead and scale a team of data analysts, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Develop and execute a multi-year strategic roadmap in collaboration with the Director of Data Analytics to drive business growth.
- Report performance metrics and operational insights to the Director of Data Analytics to optimize team output.
- Manage the full analytical project lifecycle, ensuring deadlines, benchmarks, and quality assurance standards are met.
- Oversee the design and implementation of automated ETL pipelines and data standards to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Build processing capacity using statistical modeling and advanced analytical methodologies to support complex initiatives.
- Perform complex data analysis to identify root causes of process ineffectiveness and develop actionable recommendations.
- Analyze workflows to optimize available elasticity and develop operational efficiencies.
- Present analytical findings and data-driven insights to stakeholders to support high-level decision‑making.
- Master’s degree preferred. Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 3+ years project management experience.
- 8+ years Labor and Employment Analytics experience.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; and superior with Microsoft Office Professional Suite.
- Extremely efficient, organized and resourceful.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills required.
- Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple projects, from start to finish, with shifting priority levels.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

The salary range for this position is $115,000- $168,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
