As Operations Manager, you ensure that our high-tech sorting and sowing machines are shipped around the world on time, in top quality, and with a team that you make stronger every day. You maintain an overview, steer growth, and bring calm to a dynamic engineering environment.

SeQso develops and builds sorting and sowing machines for seed breeders in Europe, Asia, and America. As part of Demcon, SeQso has all the expertise it needs to make its machines more precise, faster, and smarter. We develop new solutions for further automation in seed breeding within our own product portfolio. In this way, we contribute to food security, which is under pressure worldwide due to population growth and climate change.

As Operations Manager, you will lead a team of approximately 20 colleagues, ranging from project managers to system engineers, mechanical engineers and software engineers. In this role, you will ensure that the team performs optimally and that projects are completed on time and to a high standard. You will do this in an organization where software development and AI represent an important part of our technical value.

That is why your role plays an important factor in guiding and further developing this software side.

In addition, you will monitor daily progress, set clear priorities and work closely with the Business Development and Managing Director. Together, you will create direction and stability within the team and ensure high quality standards.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical or technical business administration field
• Management experience in a technical organization
• The ability to switch between strategic, tactical, and operational modes
• Strong communication skills and the ability to keep a cool head under pressure
• A proactive, hands-on mentality that inspires others
• Good command of Dutch and English
