The OpportunityBusiness is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead the southern Division, based out of Bridgeton, Missouri. This division is one of the company's most mature and stable territories.
The role has been created as part of a proven leadership model separating Sales and Product Support at the divisional level. This structure allows the VP of Sales to focus squarely on commercial execution, sales leadership, and profitable growth.
Position OverviewThe Vice President of Sales will have full responsibility for the sales organization and sales performance across the southern Division. This is a senior leadership role focused on developing people, improving execution, and driving disciplined growth.
You will lead a team of experienced sales professionals, partner closely with the VP of Product Support, and work directly with senior leadership and ownership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team
- Drive field activity, territory coverage, and customer engagement
- Improve pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and CRM usage
- Manage performance across both high-performing and underperforming reps
- Partner with corporate leadership on inventory planning and demand feedback
- Support key customer relationships, particularly in quarry and aggregates
- Deliver profitable growth across equipment sales and rental operations
The successful candidate will bring:
- Senior sales leadership experience within a construction or heavy equipment environment
- A track record of leading multi-rep sales teams and holding teams accountable
- Strong understanding of sales operations, forecasting, and margin-driven growth
- Comfort operating at both strategic and field levels
