We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our sales organization and drive sustainable revenue growth across multiple market segments. This executive leader will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, expanding market share, and building high-performing teams. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in construction and industrial markets, strong strategic vision, and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers and partners on a national and global scale.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth across Construction, Rental, Retail, Industrial, Oil & Gas, Government, and Entertainment markets.
- Lead and manage high-performing sales teams across Construction Equipment, Power Equipment, National Accounts, and Parts.
- Align sales objectives with overall company goals and strategic priorities.
- Drive market expansion through innovative go-to-market and channel strategies.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with national and non-national customers.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate regional sales leaders and account managers to exceed performance goals.
- Partner with Product Management and Marketing to support new product launches and ensure alignment with customer and market needs.
- Oversee product introductions and programs that increase brand awareness and customer adoption.
- Negotiate and close large-scale contracts with national accounts and strategic partners.
- Champion CRM adoption, analytics, and data-driven decision-making to improve sales effectiveness and forecasting.
- Maintain P&L responsibility for all sales teams, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution of sales strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in construction, industrial, or related markets at a national and/or international level.
- Demonstrated success leading large, geographically dispersed sales teams and driving sustained revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of rental, dealership, and direct sales models.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into execution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms (Hub Spot preferred) and data-driven sales methodologies.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required within the United States and International
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
