Director, Head of Sales EMEA About

The Role

Ready to lead a high-performing sales team across EMEA? As Director, Head of Sales EMEA, you’ll drive growth by capturing new corporate meetings & events business while strengthening relationships with existing clients. You’ll inspire your team, set ambitious goals, and make smart, strategic decisions that shape our success in the region. This is your chance to take the reins, build big wins, and make a lasting impact.

Director, Head of Sales EMEA, You Will Team Leadership
  • Inspire team members to excel by providing ongoing support and coaching.
  • Encourage a culture of teamwork and open communication within the department to enhance synergy and productivity.
  • Collaborate with HR to oversee the recruiting, hiring, and training processes, ensuring the team is well-equipped and capable.
  • Set objectives, oversee performance management and recognize achievements of team members.
  • Focus on team motivation, growth, and retention.
Establish and Maintain Relationships
  • Build strong internal networks for team members.
  • Foster strategic relationships with prospects and suppliers.
New Business Development and Implementation
  • Ensure that all team members consistently manage their sales pipelines to achieve set targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Analyze sales trends and leads.
  • Take responsibility for meeting the annual sales targets for the region through effective strategy and execution.
  • Oversee new business implementation ensuring a seamless integration.
Negotiation
  • Conduct negotiations for client contracts in a timely manner, ensuring alignment with commercial policies and company guidelines.
  • Develop pricing strategies and customer propositions.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members during contract negotiations.
Business Planning
  • Guide team members in developing profitable business plans.
  • Assess identified business opportunities thoroughly.
  • Monitor competitor activities and respond to threats.
You’re Good At
  • Leading corporate-level sales with proven results.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Communicating effectively across oral, written, and presentation formats.
  • Negotiating win-win agreements with clients and suppliers.
  • Delivering against ambitious sales and revenue goals.
  • Managing, supporting and developing regional teams.
  • Effectively pursuing opportunities to influence others and the organization.
You Also Have
  • Experience in sales role within the meetings & events industry.
  • Skills in client budgeting and pricing scenarios.
  • Familiarity with business software and analytics tools.
