Location: Sherman Oaks, CA
Schedule: Full-time, on-site

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee approximately 450 residential units across 10 buildings in the San Fernando Valley. The position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and manages day-to-day operations independently while reporting to the Director. The ideal candidate will visit properties regularly and also work from the corporate office in Sherman Oaks five days per week .
The Regional Property Manager’s main task is to oversee all property managers and assist in the development of company policies and procedures. This position will aid with the financial and operational aspects of the assigned portfolios. Essential duties include but are not limited to hiring, training and supervising employee operations, creating budget plans and making sure all company objectives are met.
Qualifications- 3+ years of property management experience including supervisory (regional/multi-site preferred).
- Excellent credit history required.
- Strong working knowledge of Yardi and Rent Cafe .
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the San Fernando Valley.
- Familiarity with California landlord/tenant and Fair Housing laws.
- Oversee daily operations of approximately 450 residential units across multiple properties.
- Supervise resident managers, leasing consultants, and maintenance technicians.
- Manage the operational and financial responsibilities of the assigned portfolios.
- Conduct property unit inspections twice a year and ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
- Manage budgets, capital improvement expenses, and financial reporting to ownership to maintain fiscal accountability.
- Review and monitor monthly, quarterly or yearly bonus reports.
- Negotiate vendor estimates/proposals and contracts as needed.
- Hire, train, and motivate resident managers by providing the leadership and tools necessary to guide managers and team performance.
- Resolve personnel issues in a professional and timely manner and implement disciplinary actions fairly and in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with California Fair Housing laws and company policies.
- Visit and inspect properties on a regular basis to ensure all safety guidelines and company standards are met and report all needed repairs to maintenance.
- Coordinate and negotiate with residents to maintain property standards.
- Resolve resident issues and ensure good reviews are sustained.
- Assist managers in creating leasing strategies in order to maximize rental/occupancy goals.
- Be on-call for 2 – 3 designated months out of the year.
- Create and post purchase orders and review invoices to confirm accuracy of expense and property categories.
- Construct, revise, and execute capital improvement contracts as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.
- Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000
