Senior Director, Access & Reimbursement Manager – West Pacific

Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company focused on treating metabolic dysfunction‑associated steatohepatitis (MASH). We seek a seasoned leader to manage a regional team of Access and Reimbursement Managers (ARMs) and drive patient access to our specialty product, Rezdiffra, across endocrinology practices.

• Lead and develop a regional team of ARMs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide coaching and development to ARMs, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute strategies to optimize access and reimbursement for Rezdiffra.
• Monitor regional and national access trends, proactively addressing barriers.
• Implement innovative solutions relevant to the market and drive their execution.
• Partner with internal stakeholders—including Trade, Market Access, Thought Leader Liaisons, Sales, and Analytics—to align on access strategies.
• Serve as the key point of contact for escalated issues related to patient access and reimbursement, resolving challenges with ARMs and other stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with endocrinology offices, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all access and reimbursement activities.
• Track and report team performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee the development of tools and resources that support ARMs in their day‑to‑day responsibilities.

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or related) preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in access, reimbursement, patient support, or related pharmaceutical/healthcare roles.
• Proven experience leading and coaching high‑performing teams.
• In‑depth knowledge of pharmacy benefit structures, specialty products, and endocrinology practices is a strong plus.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% within the assigned region.

• Base salary range: $247,000 – $302,000 per year.
