Position Overview
Amentum is seeking a Third-Party Developer (TDP) Lead Project Manager for the Space Force Range Contract.
Responsibilities- Develop project definition and acquisition documentation (RFP, SOW/SOO, CDRLs, schedules, cost estimates, etc.) and collaborate with stakeholders to create technical documentation for solicitations.
- Define programmatic requirements for each project, covering all lifecycle phases.
- Coordinate with functional areas to set and manage project milestones and objectives.
- Lead evaluation of project proposals, assessing cost, schedule, and technical compliance.
- Manage costs, schedules, and quality by overseeing execution of multiple projects.
- Analyze cost, schedule, and scope changes, recommending actions to minimize impacts.
- Identify and track project risks and integration issues, proposing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor support from all functional areas, ensuring timely assistance.
- Lead the development of transition/turnover plans and related documentation for each project.
- Maintain proactive communication with leadership, customers, and stakeholders, serving as the single point of contact for all project support.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in project management.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Catalyst, including budget development, project planning, control, and assurance.
- Proficiency with project management software and finance/accounting concepts.
- Ability to interpret client vision, business objectives, and critical success factors.
- Knowledge of delivery assurance principles and procedures.
- Familiarity with techniques and approaches for architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phases.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
The starting salary range for this position is $105,000 - $118,000 per year, with the actual compensation determined by factors such as geography, skills, education, and experience. The advertised compensation of $118,000 per year represents the upper end of this range.
