Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team in Fenton, United States! As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, leading team members, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering results.
* Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow
* Lead, motivate, and train team members to maintain high performance standards
* Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
* Collaborate with the management team to implement company policies and procedures
* Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
* Assist in creating employee schedules and managing staff coverage
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
* Participate in cost control measures and help optimize operational efficiency
* Contribute to marketing initiatives and promotional activities
* Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new team members
* Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
* Handle cash management and daily financial reporting responsibilities
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a food service or retail environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
* Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset
* Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in basic math and computer skills, including point-of-sale systems
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, sound decisions
* Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (2 years experience if 18 or 1 year if 19 or older)
* Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance
* Ability to pass a criminal background check
* High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business or related field preferred
* Serv Safe certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment
