Operations Manager, Supply Chain / Intl. Trade
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee inventory planning and right‑sizing activities, including internal branch orders, customer backorders, and buyouts (30%).
- Analyze and interpret customer sales trends, develop data insights, and collaborate with Sales Managers to adjust forecasts through the SIOP process and other forecast adjustments (25%).
- Ensure master data is maintained timely and correctly; lead daily improvement (MDI) using the PDCA cycle to maintain, improve, and develop key department metrics (20%).
- Lead, motivate, and direct the Inventory Control department using performance‑management techniques and coaching to foster teamwork, recognition, and accountability (15%).
- Lead process‑improvement and Lean manufacturing projects to establish new efficient processes for order fulfillment (10%).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and implementing inventory control/supply‑chain strategies, or equivalent education and training.
- Experience managing and motivating a team of employees.
- Strong analytical skills, sound business judgment, and effective communication.
- Attention to detail, root‑cause analysis, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, queries).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of company SST inventory policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years of experience and thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, SAP.
- 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
- 1 year of Lean experience or comparable certifications.
Requires sitting, talking, hearing, occasional walking and standing; may need to push or lift up to 25lbs.
Work EnvironmentProfessional office environment with standard office equipment.
Travel10% domestic travel.
Work Status & LocationFull‑time, Exempt.

Riverside, CA. Relocation not available.
$91,200 – $145,900 per year.
