Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) - Automotive
Leads complex, cross-functional projects to successful completion, delivering on-time, on-budget, and on-quality results. Demonstrates expert knowledge of project management methodologies, stakeholder leadership, and continuous improvement practices. Acts as a role model for professional behavior, communication, and collaboration.
Plans, controls, and executes projects they are assigned from initiation to launch, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery. Proactively works with all functions to effectively complete projects on-time, on-cost, and on-quality. Manages risks, issues, and compliance across projects under their responsibility. Resolves conflicts and effectively escalates topics appropriately on projects they manage. Effectively communicates tasks, roles, expectations, and accountabilities to all team members on a regular basis.
Understands and utilizes best practices in project management. Documents project lessons learned to foster continuous improvement. Drive cross-team collaboration and support continuous improvement of Project Management methods and tools. Professionally manage change requests, including impact assessment, documentation, and approvals. Provide clear, consistent project status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field;
Master's preferred. 7+ years of project management experience, ideally in automotive industry. Strong leadership presence with experience leading technical projects. Excellent communication skills, including customer-facing reporting and executive updates. Skilled in stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset. Ability to influence without authority in an international, cross-functional environment. Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable in dynamic, technical settings.
Proficient in Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planisware, SAP). PMP certification is a strong plus.
