Regional Operations Manager

Overview

Great Day Improvements LLC, an innovator and leader in the home remodeling market, is seeking a driven and experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of Installation and Operations in the GREAT PLAINS region. The region covers WISCONSIN, ILLINOIS, MISSOURI & NEBRASKA markets and will continue to grow. Great Day Improvements is a vertically integrated company that designs, manufactures, sells, and installs the Patio Enclosures™ sunroom products.

Salary + Performance Bonus: Our top Regional Operations Manager earns $150K+ in their first year.

Travel Requirement: Regular regional travel to all markets, up to 25 weeks per year.

• Day-to-day operations management of multiple locations.
• Job and project management utilizing our in-house CRM system.
• Oversee implementation of our customer satisfaction process.
• Responsible for job profitability, job costing, budgeting, etc.
• Recruit, hire, and train teams based on capacity needs.
• Oversee performance of the teams and train them on proper procedures.
• Evaluate and monitor performance and quality standards of subcontractors.
• Oversee training of proper installation procedures for all company products.
• Perform, if necessary, measures, breakouts and order materials accordingly.
• Ensure that safety standards are reviewed and implemented.
• Meet with customers to review difficult or complicated jobs or solve service problems.
• Maintain a rolling 30‑day installation schedule.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general management, preferably in remodeling or residential construction.
• P&L responsibility preferred.
• Experience in team building and management preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Process oriented.
• Excellent customer relations and problem‑solving skills required.
• Experience dealing with multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Competent in technology; experience with MS Excel a plus.
• Must be able to travel (drive) to all locations regularly.

The Regional Operations Manager oversees operations from contract to completion of projects. The position manages a region consisting of multiple locations with two direct reports per location: the Operations Administrator and the Installation Field Supervisor. The role maintains communication with customers throughout the project, ensures profitability, and oversees permits, subcontractor scheduling, and material ordering. It also plans revenue and profitability targets, reviews difficult jobs, and ensures installations meet company quality and profitability guidelines.
