Senior Regional Facilities Manager – Missouri Operations Position Summary

The Senior Regional Facilities Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight for all facilities, infrastructure, maintenance, utilities, security, environmental compliance, and capital project activities across Watlow’s Missouri operations, including Hannibal, Columbia, and St. Louis. This position is accountable for developing and executing long-range facilities strategies that support business growth, operational excellence, risk mitigation, sustainability, and campus expansion. The role leads multiple facilities teams and major capital programs while serving as the primary facilities advisor to site and business leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership, coaching, succession planning, and organizational development across multiple facilities teams and locations.
  • Guides the development and implementation of regional facilities strategies aligned with business unit and enterprise objectives.
  • Establishes best practices, governance, standards, and operating procedures across all Missouri facilities.
  • Uses The Watlow Way (WW) and the Watlow Business System (WBS) as the thinking and methods of how we do and improve our work.
  • Leads multi-site facility infrastructure planning, campus development, footprint optimization, and capacity expansion initiatives.
  • Develops and manages multi-year capital plans and facility master plans.
  • Directs large-scale capital projects, utility upgrades, infrastructure investments, renovations, and facility expansions.
  • Establishes and ensures adherence to operating budgets, capital budgets, business plans, and long-range investment strategies.
  • Leads enterprise-level initiatives to achieve best practice, financial performance, sustainability, and Lean objectives.
  • Champions operational excellence through TPM, predictive maintenance, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Provides executive-level reporting and analysis regarding facility performance, risks, capital investments, and strategic opportunities.
  • Leads contractor management, vendor partnerships, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory, environmental, safety, and building code requirements.
  • Provides strategic oversight of facility security, emergency preparedness, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, HS&E, and Finance leaders to support growth and operational priorities.
  • Represents Watlow with regulatory agencies, utility providers, local governments, and external stakeholders.
  • Identifies trends, risks, and opportunities impacting facility operations and develops proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Sets organizational priorities and resource allocation decisions across multiple facilities and functions.

Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • Professional certification preferred
  • 10–15 years of progressive facilities, maintenance, or operations leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years leading multiple facilities, campuses, or manufacturing sites.
  • Demonstrated experience leading major capital projects and infrastructure investments exceeding multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • Advanced leadership training and experience developing leaders and technical teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with responsibility for operating and capital budgets.
  • Lean leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel regularly between Hannibal, Columbia, and St. Louis.
