The Boeing Global Services Government (BGS-G) Supplier Management Team has an opportunity for a Supplier Management Manager (Level K) positions within our organization supporting our Top Tier Contracting team.
The selected candidate will be located in Hazelwood, MO.
Position Responsibilities:
* Oversight and coordination of a BGS-G Top Tier team. Responsibilities include terms and conditions, schedule adherence, and relationship building with several major Supplier partners.
* Post Award Supplier Performance - Oversight and coordination of Supplier Performance Management as well as open order management and Customer alignment for Transactional procurement for all BGS-G demands and customers.
* Manages, develops and motivates employees
* Provide subcontract support, supplier delivery performance and support for all program objectives.
* Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier- related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
* Coordinates with the larger BGS-G Supply Chain team (Forecasting, Planning, Order Execution) on proposal requirements, execution requirements and keeping programs and stakeholders informed on supplier status, issues, risks and opportunities.
* Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
* Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
* The identification and implementation of continuous improvement processes is also expected.
* Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
* Hold extensive knowledge of Supplier Management processes and procedures.
* Direct experience working with a variety of subcontract types under DoD prime contracts.
* Excellent negotiation and problem resolution skills are required.
* Occasional travel to other Boeing sites, Customer and suppliers (
