Position Summary
Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Conducts store tours, provides feedback, and drives company change initiatives with clear expectations and guidance.
What You'll Do- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, following the One Best Way (OBW) service model and supporting community outreach programs.
- Drive financial performance of the designated store area by reviewing profit & loss statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses to meet sales and profit goals.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and recognizing performance.
- Coordinate job‑related activities, build relationships with stakeholders, and support plans that meet customer and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the Open Door Policy and maintaining ethical conduct.
- Promote a culture of belonging, respect individual differences, and build a high‑performing team that thrives on diversity.
- Act with integrity, uphold Walmart values, and support efforts to become a regenerative company.
- Serve customers and members by delivering results, applying EDLP and EDLC models, and making data‑driven decisions that consider all stakeholders.
- Strive for excellence by embracing curiosity, taking calculated risks, and fostering continuous improvement and learning.
- 2 years of college; or
1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; or
2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. - For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state‑specific requirements, a current state‐issued Certificate of Eligibility.
- Required to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U or Bellevue University;
Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U or Bellevue University. - General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
Annual salary range $65,000.00 – $. Additional compensation includes performance bonuses and may include regional pay zone (RPZ) and complex structure adjustments.
