Salary: $12,729.00 - $14,566.00 per month

Ultimate responsibility for the planning, development, implementation, and management of statewide field operations of Intelligence, Technology and Emergency Operations (ITEO) across the OCS Regional territory falls to the Special Agent-In-Charge (SAC) under the direction of the Deputy Chief, OCS. The SAC oversees daily programming, supervises all assigned Senior Special Agents, and maintains liaison with Department stakeholders, law enforcement, and criminal justice agencies.

Some travel is required.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, implement, and manage statewide intelligence, technology, and emergency operations field activities.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to all assigned Senior Special Agents.
  • Maintain liaison with Department stakeholders, law enforcement, and criminal justice agencies.
  • Oversee daily program operations and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate travel requirements and ensure operational readiness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
  • Background Investigation clearance.
  • Medical clearance.
  • Psychological Evaluation clearance.
  • Required federal and state certifications as specified in the Class Specification.
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in law enforcement, intelligence, or security operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multi‑agency collaboration and crisis situations.
Additional Information

All positions require completion of a Background Investigation, medical clearance, and psychological evaluation prior to appointment. The position is permanent, full‑time and located in San Bernardino County (In‑Office).
