Incident Management Team Expected Participation:
Employees are expected to support emergency response and/or business continuity efforts, including readiness to serve on an Incident Management Team (IMT) when needed. Employees will participate in an on‑call rotation (approximately every four to six weeks), to support IMT activations during emergency events. IMT assignments may differ from an individual’s regular responsibilities.
- Directs and designs enterprise operating plans which align with organization’s business strategy and short, medium and long‑term objectives.
- Designs and steers the business operations risk management strategies.
- Oversees the prioritization of strategic planning scenarios which effectively address business challenges whilst successfully achieving operational performance metrics.
- Manages the development, recommendation and implementation of performance metrics and improvement.
- Oversees the design and development of reporting tools in order to track the status of overall business operations, as well as specific projects.
- Directs the implementation of business operating plans which align with organization’s enterprise strategy and short, medium and long‑term objectives.
- Designs operational policies and procedures for the Operating Unit to ensure work goals are met and completed within a given timeframe.
- Works with business planning and performance management teams to develop action plans to meet business planning scenarios considering financial, operational, and regulatory risk and constraints. Administers projects including planning, strategizing, coordination, implementation and quality control. Leads cross‑functional teams in the development and implementation of process and procedural improvements aligning with the corporate objectives.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
- Seven or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
- Experience in leading business operations analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Analytics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of or certified in Continuous Improvement methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable business plans, performance metrics, and operational improvements.
- Experience leading benchmarking efforts and leveraging industry best practices to improve operational performance.
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further…
