Are you an experienced claims leader who thrives on developing high-performing teams, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service? We are seeking a Mechanical Claims Manager to lead a dynamic claims organization dedicated to providing best-in-class support to customers, dealers, and agents.
In this role, you will oversee claim senior adjusters and adjusters while ensuring timely and accurate claims administration. You will play a critical role in team development, process improvement, performance management, and strategic business initiatives that contribute to organizational growth and client satisfaction.
What You'll Do Leadership & Team Management- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of claim professionals.
- Recruit, hire, train, and onboard new team members.
- Establish performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Conduct performance reviews and support employee development plans.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and results-driven culture.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of mechanical claims.
- Oversee claim setup, adjudication, and resolution activities.
- Provide guidance on complex claims and escalated customer situations.
- Maintain compliance with contract provisions, company policies, and fair claims practices.
- Monitor service levels and team productivity to ensure performance goals are achieved.
- Deliver exceptional service to customers, business partners, agents, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage escalated inquiries and support key client relationships.
- Collaborate with underwriting, sales, and operational teams to drive positive outcomes.
- Respond to regulatory, BBB, and Department of Insurance inquiries as required.
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support claims policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Participate in product development efforts and new product launches.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of claims or claims administration leadership experience.
- 2+ years of call center supervisory or leadership experience.
- Proven success in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Access.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
