- Global Sustainability Engagements & Partnerships (Americas). The Senior Manager — Global Sustainability Engagements & Partnerships (Americas) will lead a regional team responsible for developing and executing collaborative sustainability partnerships with commercial airline customers, academic institutions, industry consortia, NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations), and government stakeholders across Canada, the United States, and Latin America.
This leader will shape sustainability offers to support sales campaigns, cultivate R&D and operational partnerships, and develop regional policy approaches in coordination with Government Operations (Federal and State/Local), Boeing Global, and Boeing business units (Commercial, Defense, Services).
The ideal candidate combines strong aerospace sustainability domain knowledge (operational efficiency, sustainable aviation fuels, non‑CO2 effects, carbon removals, emissions accounting) with proven partnership-building, program leadership, and stakeholder management skills across the Americas.

Lead, mentor, and scale a cross‑functional regional team focused on customer engagements, partnerships, and policy strategy across Canada, the U.S., and Latin America
Develop and execute engagement strategies with commercial airline sustainability teams to support sales campaigns, trials, and long‑term account sustainability roadmaps
Design and operationalize sustainability offers and value propositions (e.g., SAF adoption pathways, operational efficiency services, emissions measurement and reduction packages, carbon removals integration) to support capture and proposal efforts
Cultivate partnerships with academic institutions, research centers, industry consortia, fuel producers, utilities, NGOs, and cross‑sector partners to accelerate decarbonization and collaborative R&D
Lead regional policy strategy efforts related to sustainability — coordinating with Boeing Government Operations (Federal and State/Local), Boeing Global policy, and external stakeholders on topics such as SAF incentives, emissions accounting, non‑CO2 mitigation, and market mechanisms
Act as Boeing’s regional sustainability ambassador—aligning cross‑functional internal stakeholders (Commercial, Defense, Services, Boeing Global) and ensuring consistent customer and government messaging
Lead the strategy for SAF and Jet-A procurement for all US Boeing operations – partnering with Indirect Supply Chain as the business partner on procurement efforts
Oversee the strategy development and partnership efforts for carbon dioxide removals (CDR)
Translate technical sustainability concepts into commercial value and risk narratives for customers, sales teams, and executive leadership; contribute to proposals and executive briefings
Track and report outcomes: customer commitments to SAF/efficiency measures, partnership milestones, policy engagement progress, and contributions to the commercial pipeline
Represent Boeing at industry events, government forums, and customer executive meetings
Build industry consortia, NGOs, fuel suppliers, and/or government stakeholders
Navigate Federal and State/Local government engagement processes and regulatory landscapes in North America; familiarity with Latin American stakeholder strategy and issues
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience in environmental sustainability, business management, policy development or related field
Strong knowledge of sustainable aviation fuels, their production processes, and associated technologies
Broad understanding of technical affiliations, Government and non-government technical/aerospace advocacy initiatives and their ways of doing business in this environment (strong networking skills)
Experience managing and leading teams, as well as influencing within matrixed organizations
Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the Americas…
