What You’ll Do as Area Director- Inspire & Build Top Talent: Hire, coach, and empower a high-performing team focused on excellence and meaningful outcomes.
- Drive Quality Operations: Monitor daily operations to ensure programs meet the highest regulatory standards, accreditation goals, and personalized care needs.
- Forge Community Connections: Serve as the face of Mosaic in Rockford! Build powerful local partnerships, engage with state/local entities, and lead exciting community fundraising events.
- Manage with Strategic Vision: Translate financial metrics into smart operational decisions, balancing budget goals with top-tier service delivery.
- Champion Belonging & Inclusion: Model Mosaic’s core values—belonging, connection, faithfulness, and grit—while living out our 7 Essential Practices of Leadership.
Schedule may vary, depending on the needs of the people who experience our services, the sustainable fundraising events, community events, and governmental affair events.
Salary
: $88,650 - $100,000

Qualifications What We’re Looking For- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
- Leadership
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in human services, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. - Operational Expertise: Proven background in budget management, staff development, and quality compliance preferred.
- Community Builder: Strong public speaking and relationship-building skills to connect with families, state officials, and community leaders.
- Requirements: Ability to travel locally/regionally, a valid driver's license, and a drive to solve problems with agility.
