About Us
We’re partnering with an established aerospace manufacturer seeking a Business Unit Manager to lead the growth and performance of a key aerospace product line. This is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with an understanding of complex engineered products and manufacturing.
What You’ll Do- Own revenue, profitability, forecasting, and growth strategy for an established aerospace product portfolio
- Develop and execute pricing, product, and new business strategies to drive profitable growth
- Build and maintain relationships with major aerospace OEM and Tier 1 customers
- Lead new opportunities from customer requirements and proposals through contract award and execution
- Partner across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain to deliver business objectives
- Lead business planning, performance reviews, and long‑term portfolio strategy
- Serve as a key business and customer interface with executive leadership
- 5+ years of commercial, program, product line, or business leadership experience
- Experience with in aerospace, defense, or complex engineered manufacturing
- Strong understanding of P&L, revenue, margin, pricing, forecasting, and business planning
- Experience with new business development, proposals, contracts, and/or strategic customer accounts
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams
- Strong communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
- Ownership of a significant aerospace product portfolio
- Direct visibility with executive leadership and major OEM customers
- Opportunity to influence both business growth and operational performance
