The California Energy Commission is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and visionary leader to oversee a team of CEQA Project Managers responsible for some of the state’s most complex energy facility projects.
In this high-impact role, you’ll provide technical and programmatic leadership, guide environmental and environmental justice analyses, shape innovative energy policy, and advise executive and Commission leadership on critical energy and environmental issues. You’ll represent the CEC with state and federal agencies, industry leaders, communities, the Legislature, and other stakeholders, while championing a positive, inclusive environment where your team can thrive.

Salary range: $12,562.00 - $15,724.00 per month

Energy experience is required for this role:Broad, extensive (more than five years) and progressively responsible technical experience with a gas, electric, communications, or water utility, or with an allied industry involving familiarity with the operation of one of these utilities or with a utility regulatory agency. At least two years of this experience shall have been in a responsible administrative capacity.
