Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Vice President of Service will be a founding-level leader responsible for building an end-to-end service, warranty, charging, and customer support organization from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to define the post-sale strategy and infrastructure supporting a next-generation electric and hybrid vehicle platform in the United States. Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Vice President of Service will design the infrastructure, processes, partner networks, and teams required to support a growing fleet across diverse customer segments, including transit agencies, municipalities, and commercial fleets.

This leader will be both a strategist and an operator - developing the systems and organization required to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximize vehicle uptime, and scale service operations alongside production growth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Extensive leadership experience in service, aftersales, technical operations, automotive, commercial vehicles, transit, transportation equipment, or EVs.
  • Proven experience building and scaling service organizations, service networks, warranty programs, technical support operations, and third-party service partnerships. Strong understanding of electric and hybrid vehicle systems, high-voltage safety, battery technology, EV charging, telematics, and remote diagnostics.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop warranty strategies, manage service and warranty costs, establish performance standards, and partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance to improve field reliability and customer experience.
  • Experience supporting commercial fleets, transit agencies, municipalities, government customers, or other fleet-based operations is preferred. Strong financial and business acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, warranty forecasting, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Proven ability to build teams, processes, and infrastructure in a startup, high-growth, or evolving environment. Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first mindset and a strong focus on uptime, reliability, safety, and responsiveness. Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
