The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is searching for an innovative and forward‑thinking leader to oversee parole operations in the Southern region. Under the administrative direction of the Assistant Deputy Director, Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO), the Chief Deputy Regional Administrator (CDRA) is responsible for field operations in an assigned parole region or DAPO headquarters. The CDRA provides managerial administrative oversight of field parole districts or DAPO headquarters support or re‑entry units and may act on behalf of the Assistant Deputy Director as needed.

- Minimum Qualifications:
Broad administrative or program manager experience with substantial participation in the formulation, operation, and/or evaluation of program staff and related functions.
- Experience building effective, cooperative, and collaborative partnerships with local agencies, employers, and other stakeholders.
- Experience with parole operations and programs, community correctional models, and parole management practices.
- Experience in personnel management and supervision, including support of employee wellness and diversity inclusion.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse populations.
