Higginsville Habilitation Center (HHC) is recruiting for a Support Care Professional, in our Center Industries Department, and to be a part of a highly effective team that supports over 200 employees, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. HHC is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports 40+ individuals receiving 24/7 services.
The Support Care Professional must be detail-oriented, work well with others, have good time management skills, possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other computer programs and willing to travel.
Responsibilities:This position will oversee the daily operation of the work area that employs individuals supported by HHC; and will work on establishing piece rates for the individuals based on time studies or following state minimum wage guidelines.
This position will be worked into on-call rotation, which includes Holidays and overtime hours as needed.
- Will keep accurate production sheets for individuals payroll and Department of Labor.
- Ability to be flexible based on vendors orders and have the ability to change production quickly and be supportive of individuals that may not like change.
- Quality control of product for vendors.
- Will follow facility policies in order to provide adequate staff coverage and individuals program supervision.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- High School Diploma/GED
- Four or more years of I/DD experience
- Applicant must possess a Valid Class E Chauffeur's License or obtain one within 90 days of hire

Salary:- $53,919.12 annually/$2,246.63 per pay period
- Scheduled to work 7:00 am to 3:30 pm working Monday through Friday, with Saturday and Sunday as days off, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of the Campus schedule.
This position is part of the Campus on-call rotation.
