Printing Press Operator

Lakeside Book Company is looking for skilled machine operators to assist us in running the latest technology in high speed offset printing presses. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help craft books that end up in the hands of readers across the country and learn a skilled trade that will be in high demand for as long as people continue to seek knowledge.

Starting Rate: $23.50-$32.45 an hour plus $1.25 per hour shift premium for night shift

Work Hours: 4-crew schedule working on 50% of the days in a year: three 12-hour days in week 1 and four 12-hour days in week
2. Every other weekend is a three-day weekend. (3p-3a)

Location: 1005 Commercial Drive, Owensville, MO 65066.

As a Web Press Operator
, you will:

• Make-ready, run and maintain a web offset printing press
• Read job instructions and specifications
• Make register and color adjustments
• Work as a lead in a team environment and cross-train with others
• Receive training to help advance your career

• Ability to lift and carry 20 to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
• Previous press experience is preferred
• We will provide you with the additional training you need to be successful
