Position: CLOTH GRADER - 3rd shift $17.55 - $18.55

* Job Summary:

** Inspect, classify, and grade questionable fabric, which inspectors question or customers return.
*
* Essential Functions:

** Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards:
* Assist in ensuring department quality goals.
* Work with Quality and Other departments on special fabric reviews
* Become proficient in all areas of inspection.
* Perform inspection of questionable yardage before shipment.
* Aid inspectors in making decisions regarding questionable cloth.
* Assist with rerolls or mending off frame as needed.
* Work scheduled overtime
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Report problems in keeping proper product flow to shift supervisor.
* Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
* Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
* Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
* Maintain 5 S standards.## Qualifications

* Qualifications:

*** Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others.
* Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
* Heavy lifting required.
* Knowledge of defect ticket system required.

Computer skills required – be able to track rolls in all stages of production and check pattern repeats, fillings, and warps
