** Job Description Summary
** This position operates and adjusts all process equipment chopped and formed line for smooth and productive operations; monitors lineflow and waste; corrects problems which affect quality and production costs; and makes line changes as directed by the production lead or team leader.
** Job Description
*** Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork, report to the assigned line, complete walk through and prepare for operations.
* Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear and perform a safety check on equipment to be used in daily operations and ensure that all safety devices are functioning properly.
* Check schedule, work orders and bulk product inventory, take oil, blancher and finished product samples to lab as required.
* Monitor the blancher and fryer, complete walk through, take samples, make adjustments, check drains and magnets as required.
* Manually dump and / or scoop ingredients and condiments into hoppers according to recipe and pump oil from fryer as required.
* Keep the work area clear and clean, hose down area, sweep / shovel up spills, empty trash and replace liners.
* At end of shift, secure all equipment, complete all required paperwork, perform general housekeeping and wet clean-up as required.

*** High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
* Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.

* Skills and Experience:

*** Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. (Requirement may vary by location).
* Experience driving forklift in warehouse or manufacturing establishment preferred.
* Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility.
* Ability to perform basic math functions, required.
* To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer operation knowledge, data entry skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
** Physical Environment/Demands:
*** Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
* Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature
* Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies
* Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures.
* Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
