Test Technician

Skill Set Group  is seeking a Test Technician/Quality Inspector to work in the Gardena, CA area. This role will be responsible for conducting functional & environmental testing and quality inspections on PCBA/electronic assemblies and components. The chosen candidates must have ESD environment experience, along with a strong electronic component testing background. Strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with test automation tools, and schematics is also a must.

This will be a 1st shift position and a DIRECT HIRE role.

• 1st shift - 8AM-430PM, 4-6 hours every other Saturday.

• 2–3 years of test or systems experience, preferably in electronics or environmental testing.
• ESD/semi-clean room environment experience/electromechanical assembly, PCBA, SMT, and & Thru-hole component visual inspection & testing experience.
• Testing includes environmental & functional testing, rework soldering if needed.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics & component parameters/specs.
• Receiving & final inspection of all components and assemblies.
• Knowledge of ESD electronic environment requirements.
• Experience with microscope to determine visual conformity and physical defects.
• ERP experience.
• This is a small team, will be cross‑trained in all aspects, must be open to learning, room for growth.
