Primary Duty
The primary responsibility is to cut, punch and drill parts to print. You'll also set up and maintain equipment, use hand tools and operate a forklift & overhead crane.

SupervisionSupervision is by the Shop Manager.
Conditions of EmploymentSuccessful candidates must pass a criminal background check. Candidate must meet the requirements of the full job description throughout the duration of employment with Mari Corp U.S. and must follow all policies outlined in the employee handbook.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Reads a tape measure.
- Ability to interpret shop drawings.
- Cuts, punches, and drills material precisely.
- Keeps work area clean.
- Lifts heavy objects.
- Operates a forklift and overhead crane.
- Setup, run, and maintain saw, punch press, and drills.
- Able to operate various hand tools.
- Works with Welder Fabricators to determine what parts are needed and when.
- Follow directions.
- Performs other duties, as required by the company.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences for professional development as necessary.
- Attends and/or participates in company training.
- Interacts well with all levels of staff and management.
- Performs related administrative work as required.
Work does not involve significant out-of-town travel.
Technical ExperienceExperience working in a production environment is helpful.
Required Education and Certifications- Position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Equivalent experience, education, and training may be considered as a diploma substitute.
- If operating a motor vehicle while on company business, job incumbents must possess current Motor Vehicle Operator's License and maintain proper personal insurance coverage. Must be forklift certified.
No supervisory responsibility for other employees. Company effectiveness depends upon a strong teamwork environment.

Work EnvironmentPrimary work location is a warehouse/production facility. Work is generally performed between 6:00 and 4:30. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately high due to the operation of power tools and other machinery.
