Essential Job Functions
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies, GMPs, and use required PPE while in the warehouse or production areas.
  • Maintain food quality and safety as per corporate, customer, and governing standards (e.g., SQF).
  • Apply practical knowledge of SQF and HACCP to address related inquiries.
  • Read, comprehend, and follow a production schedule; communicate issues or deviations and respond to inquiries.
  • Monitor production flow, supply raw materials, and perform minor servicing of machines when needed.
  • Follow Quality Assurance and production line SOPs.
  • Execute equipment changeovers following SOPs; read imperial and metric measurements.
  • Record all production and quality information accurately; maintain downtime reports.
  • Perform equipment and area sanitation as assigned.
  • Collaborate with all departments to improve quality, increase efficiencies, and reduce waste.
  • Identify raw material defects that could impact production quality, efficiency, or waste.
  • Recognize visual and auditory cues indicating production or machine issues.
  • Assist in training new employees.
  • Carry out minor machine maintenance and preventive maintenance.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by leadership, including cross‑training, sanitation, inventory management, and training.
Required Skills
  • Experience in a high‑speed beverage production environment; able to operate and troubleshoot equipment independently.
  • Familiarity with production machinery and forklifts, and an awareness of technical issues.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations.
  • Skill in interpreting gauges.
  • Formal training in WHIMIS, HACCP, hygiene, etc. preferred.
  • Forklift certification may be required.

  • Safety awareness: uphold safety protocols and hazard identification; complete monthly Alchemy training.
  • Communication: effective verbal and written communication; follow downtime escalation schedules.
Education and Experience
  • High school certification or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
Working Conditions
  • Work schedule:

    weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings, overnight, and holidays may be required; overtime scheduled as needed.
  • Environment: fast‑paced production plant with moving parts; hearing protection required; temperatures hot or cold; supervised with clear targets and schedules.

  • 0% travel anticipated.

  • R = Rarely (0-15%)
  • O = Occasionally (16-45%)
  • F = Frequently (46-100%)
  • Stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift up to 50 lbs (minimum 15 lbs), carry weight, push/pull, drive forklift, climb stairs/ladders, balance.
  • Visual and sensory: attention to detail, one or two senses at a time.
  • Coordination and dexterity: excellent hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Mental stress: pressure from deadlines, quotas, accuracy.
