Production Manager

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Albany, MO.

Own plant production to meet OEM and DTC demand.

Create and maintain a master production schedule based on sales needs. This will include movement of parts through all production areas and shipment of final product.

Oversee and coordinate workflow and all aspects of production.

Management of assigned employees.

Responsible for facilitating inbound and outbound production requirements.

Work with procurement to ensure all required materials and parts are on schedule to meet production requirements.

Communicate regularly with management regarding problems or issues impacting production and provide potential solutions.

Work alongside other team leaders and managers to forecast production output.

Help other team leaders remove obstacles in their production environment.

Apply basic Lean Manufacturing principles to increase production efficiency. Help gather time studies and improve processes.

Other job duties or requirements may be assigned.

• Experience in inventory management programs such as Netsuite or comparable ERP software.
• 5+ Years in manufacturing management and oversight.
• 5+ Years in a personnel management role.
• High level knowledge in scheduling in a complex manufacturing environment, to include machining, assembly, and coating operations.
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Positive, encouraging attitude.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Comfortable in a changing and growing work environment.
• Accounting and vendor relations experience.
