The Extraction Technician I supports the Extraction department in daily activities for oil extraction and processing in a laboratory environment. This position is under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.

This position involves working with plant material, which may include exposure to pollen, allergens, and other plant-related substances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs daily plant processing in decarboxylation
• Maintains pre/post trim stock inventories and accompanying records
• Validates material receipt against shipment manifests
• cGMP compliant maintenance of laboratory records and documentation
• Care and maintenance of the laboratory including supply, organization and equipment maintenance

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel

Preferred

• 1 year of experience in a laboratory environment
• Experienced With CGLP And/or CGMP Requirements
• Knowledge and/or experience in Lean management systems

Education

• High School Degree
• Preferred Associate’s Degree Or Higher

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a secure, regulated environment.
